Nisekoi review/fangirling

'Allo, 'Allo, 'Allo

What's all this then, you ask? (hehehe) Well I'll tell you, it's the long awaited 'my first review on an anime!!!' Due to the brand new 2nd season currently on 'crunchyroll', I've decided to do a Nisekoi review! (as the title suggests)

Now, I haven't read the manga or anything but the anime is fantastic, the style, the artwork, characters, music, and all the scenes.

Oh yeah there might be spoilers I think, but I'll avoid from saying big things.

So lets start with:

Story/plot:
Yeah, I may have amped it up a bit too much in my last paragraph but honestly the story is kind of crap... well not complete crap, it's sweet and cheesy but it's all kind of cliché. Don't get me wrong If your into that stuff then go ahead, but it's like re-watching every rom-com over again, but I love rom-coms so that wasn't a problem. But mind you the plot takes forever to develop, I don't think in even the last episode anyone admitted their love for the other person, except for Marika of course! (ufufufu). Just don't expect anything completely mind-blowing and different story-wise.
8/10... What can I say I love my rom-coms!

Characters:
To me the characters are fantastic in every way and form, yeah it might be your typical tsundere, sweet girl and main protagonist concepts but they are conveyed so well that you have to love them, all of them are different and funny in their own right. I enjoy watching all of them but you know, I have to have my otp in the limelight ( Chitoge ftw!) I won't go into full detail of each character for im far too lazy to do so! :33

Music:
... I never really pay attention to the music, like ever, only excluding studio ghibli films cause I watch them over 5 times each. But I don't have much to say... I always skip the op and the ed cause I want to move straight to the plot so umm..... 9/10... (such a fan-girl)

Art:
This I actually have something to say about, It's absolutely beautiful!!! I think the animation is by shaft but I could be wrong (sorry for my ignorance T__T) but I really don't focus my attention on that sort of thing.

Kangoku gakuen/Prison School!!

Hey Guys!

With the latest release of the anime version of Kangoku Gakuen/Prison school, i thought it would be very fitting to post a semi review/ fan girling.

I have been waiting for this very moment my whole life, I read all the chapters in a day and then found out a month later an anime would be released, it was pure ecstasy. I was most likely one of the only girls to be hooked on this manga/show, and to believe it was pure coincidence that I found it.

So once, the day arrived I went on to Crunchyroll and searched, and I mean searched, I looked on the front page, new releases, typed into the search box, even looked at the timetable, I couldn't find my dream anywhere, and before all you CR haters come on, I just have to say I really like the quality of their anime and I can't be bothered to download every anime I want to watch. So I settled for my second option and watched it in 480p... it was torture, but I loved every minute of it!

Really, this isn't a review it's just me spreading awareness of this completely 'magical' and ecchi show. GO watch it! Well, that's only to say if they don't ruin it with the loads of censors it already has in the first episode, but nothing manga couldn't solve, but seriously if your going to animate something so ecchi, just don't add censors, just don't do it. What child would be watching that (You, when you were 5, you damn pervert!)

Anyway, see you guys! I'll leave this here though.

Sorry/Life update

Anyway, I wanted to say sorry I haven't posted in awhile... (who am I even saying sorry to, no ones reading this, lol).

I've been really caught up in exams so I haven't had any free time, hell, I haven't even watched a single anime episode in 2 months! I've been skipping Naruto cause it's been all filler lately (unless that's changed, idk)

Believe it or not I was going to post an anime review on 'Nisekoi' but that's still a draft (〒﹏〒)
so that's going to have to wait.

I was thinking of renaming my blog cause honestly I don't even write that much about anime, I might change it to 'Geek Station' cause that would make more sense, and yeah it's 'station' instead of nation because it's like a stop on 'Blog Train' HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... WHY AREN'T YOU LAUGHING?!?!

I tried starting a vlog... that's the end of that story.

So keep tuned in the next week or so, and I'll promise to post my Nisekoi review, I might change it to a 'kangoku gakuen' but either way both topics will come up eventually

Pikachu laptop decal

Hey,

Wow! I've noticed I've been really inactive this week and that's due to being in school, so I'll most likely be posting on the weekends if I'm not studying or anything =(. But you're in luck!! Recently I received a pikachu decal in my mail from the oh so lovely amazon so I guess this post will be a review/show off/tips ;3

Now don't be fooled by it looks, this was a bitch to put on, the struggle was real. This is due to the fact I live on an island in the middle of nowhere, so all my shipments take a minimum of 2 weeks to get here and also the humidity is intense. Therefore, there were loads of bubbles in the sheet.

I didn't know anything on how to put it on so I went in blind. It came as one sheet with two layers (clear and a white back) so I peeled of a bit of the translucent layer first but realised something was very wrong. I was pretty sure that the actual decal should of been on the clear side but mine was on the white side, so I couldn't see where I was putting it.

So with my trusty skills I went to youtube/google for help, lo and behold I was right, it's supposed to be on the clear side. Now, the video I watched didn't really show what to do when it's stuck to the other side so I looked to the comment section for answers but they said that it was due to humidity and the sheet had bubbles that lifted it off the paper so I would have to wait a few days for the bubbles to disappear, there was no way I could wait for that so I ventured onwards for the key.

After about 30 minutes of looking I finally found out a way to do it but the instructions were for a car decal, but their basically the same I thought. The site said to use a credit/debit card to scrape the bubble out, but due to my age I resorted to a trusty iTunes card.

I scraped and scraped and scraped but the piece of shit was still stuck to the other side but I proceeded to scrape for another 10 minutes 'til i went on youtube again. I found out I had wasted an overall 15 minutes scrapping the wrong side, I scrapped the front instead of the back so another 5 minutes later I was able to peel it very, very slowly until all the decal was on the right side and I stuck it on to my laptop with super precise power and BOOM! My decal was finally on and looking super cute!(≧▽≦)  

There was a few bubbles but they disappeared after a couple days, and you might not be able to tell but one of the ears has an indent which accidentally happened because I rushed.

Once I get another one I'll post it here on how to do it but here are the things I found that helped:

Looking back on it, all the sites I used and videos I checked out were also scraping the clear side so I don't know where I got the idea to do the back but that just worked better for me.

Short haired Cosplay

What's sup guys!

    Recently I've been thinking about cosplay(such a typical topic for otakus) and I realised I've never cosplayed, not a lot of people who like anime do, but someone as obsessed as me, you would of thought I did it at least once but no, not even in my own home.

Now, I am completely lazy so I don't want to change my hairstyle just to cosplay. So one of the main reasons I never cosplayed was because my hair was always pulled back into a ponytail and i never had ay sort of bangs so there was very little in the the market for me to cosplay as without spending all of my hard-earned cash on wigs and shit.

But, you should all know by now that I've cut my hair short, and that's where this topic came up, I searched the internet long and hard and came to the perfect 'search question': short haired anime girls.

It was simply mind breaking the options came up as hundreds, so I would like to narrow down the list for you fellow short hairs out there (=◕　w　◕=)


Faye Valentine: 

Very simple, you don't need to put anything too dramatic in your hair except a simple hairband... and you need boobs, big ones and seeing as I dont have the cash for that I'm stuck with using - what are those? Oranges... grapefruits... watermelons? Whatever they are, I'm stuck with using fruit, and the outfit... is 
quite hard to find at your local shop. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻                                                              




Suzumiya Haruhi: 

A little bit more difficult with those trade mark bows in her hair but no need of big tits... only a sailor uniform which isn't too bad still not very findable. 



Mikasa Ackerman:

How can we forget the fantastic Mikasa with her beautiful looks but her bad-ass attitude. Totally accomplishable if you have a random survey corps outfit and 3d maneuver gear laying around...




 Meiko: 

 To those of you in more of the vocaloid fandom we have Meiko whether it is the original, Meiko v3 or Sakine Meiko, they all sport that wonderful short haircut, but unluckily for the more self-conscious of us the cute crop top and short skirt show a little too much for our liking.

Osaki Nana:

This girl looks like she just walked out of my closet I most likely have all the stuff needed to wear this outfit just the awkward hair parting and my lack of a humongous forehead makes this a little weird looking especially for me.

Touka Kirishima: 

I absolutely love her so this may be a bit biased but her look is the most easiest for me to achieve just a little change in parting and BOOM! and considering she has like, 3 different outfits too choose from there's a clear winner, well at least for me anyway. Who doesn't want to cosplay her?


Overall, there is a lot of short-haired anime characters, a lot more then I realised, heck, you could even cosplay as any anime boy as most of them have longish short hair (??..wut?)
But, if you desperately want to cosplay as a character with long hair, putting on a wig cap is soo much easier than messing around with long hair... well at least I think so.

A Haircut

I'm quite surprised at myself for keeping this up and quite ashamed of posting about something so girly (>_<)

So today I went out and got myself a haircut. Normally I don't go to the hairdressers unless I need it straightened which can take 2 hours, so I rarely ever go. 

Also, everytime I sit in the salon chair my butt and back starts to hurt which is ironic since that's what I do most of the time. 

Where was I? I've sidetracked again, my whole point of this post was just to talk about what I did today which I don't often do so the adjustment is quite weird. Getting back on the topic of my hair, when I was 8 or so it was the first time I cut my hair, so you could probably tell that it was well past my butt! And my mom being the creep she is decided to keep my 'precious hair' in a ziplock bag instead of donating it but that's beside the point.

I never really experienced short hair and even after my first haircut I kept my length down to mid-back being the minimum length I've ever cut.(Did that even make any sense? o__O)

That all changed today, when I cut my hair to round about shoulder length (╥ω╥), 

It's quite a different feel and my head seems much lighter or maybe that just me (ufufufu). The only downside of the whole experience was the fact my hair was straightened so I never got to saw it with my natural super wavy and thick hair and honestly, the anticipation is killing me.

Game haul/review

Haha!

I bet you thought my first proper post would be something about anime/manga! I sure fooled you!...
unless I didn't and your very good at guessing...

Anyways, to begin with I thought of showing you my game collection and maybe doing a review on one of my favourites.

I won't go through them all for that would take too long, but its not like I have a lot it's just that i'd write too much, so i'll just go through my most recent purchases.


(This will be in no specific order of favourites)

For the 3ds/ds we have:

 999: 

I personally haven't played a lot of this game but it honestly intrigues me. I've seen the first few minutes and it's in your classic pixelated pictures. I believe i'm going to love this

Professor Layton:

This series is one of possibly the best games I've experienced it opened a lot of new doors for me in the gaming world but the last game before this one took me like a whole year too finish because it was simply too boring I hope this one is better.








Next we have the PS Vita: 

 Gravity rush:

Yeah, I know it's a classic game if you got a vita but it's absolutely beautiful! One of the most gorgeous games i've played so far on the vita but I suck as a gamer due to not having enough time nor the money so I don't have a broad range. :3

Danganronpa:

Last but not least this game is the one that has the most time logged into it and it is excellent! I love it and i have found my self laughing out way too loud for a murder game! The visuals are excellent and the characters are super interesting and I know that I'm late to hop on this train but at least i caught it.







As you can see I very much like story driven games. I can't kill/shoot someone without knowing their backstory nor can I wander around aimlessly without a hint of the character's personality but that's probably just me... *cries*

The beginning of Something Terrible

Hey Guys!

Oh wow -extreme cringing- I thought of starting a blog for myself to...  I don't actually fucking know but I guess for some cliché reason of expressing myself.

So I guess this will be my first post ever and I better not fuck it up.

I just wanted to outline a few things to start off:

1. I know that otaku is actually a really offensive way to describe someone in Japanese terms but   honestly I don't really give a shit. (You guys probably won't get this now because I have now changed my name, it used to be 'Otaku Nation' I know *cringe) 
2. My blog will not be clear in its demographic and I will most likely post a lot of random shit.
3. I'm a beginner at all of this and have no idea what i'm doing so I apologize in advance for my layout and stuff 
4. I'm lazy as fuck and will not keep up a schedule but will try for all my lovely followers out there. (Like I have any!)
5. I have no clue on the rules about copyright infringement - if that's even the right term - so if i ever post anything that you've made or think i might get in trouble for and i have forgotten to credit you for it (Which will most likely happen) or if you simply don't want me using it please tell me and I will gladly take it down. (Thanks a lot motherfucker) 
6. I tend to curse a LOT as most of the other points have depicted so if you can't deal with such vulgar language I kindly ask you to fuck the fuck off. ;3 
7. I'm super perverted and I'm proud! lol, like seriously I apologize in advance for my awkward nose bleeding and dirty thoughts.
8. 'My tastes are very singular', Oh gosh I can't believe I just used that quote and I now realise it doesn't apply to my situation at all! I'm quite the opposite and as my previous points have stated I like a lot of random shit.
